Béatrice et Bénédict ( Beatrice and Benedict ) is an opera in two acts by the composer Hector Berlioz; it arose as Opus 27 1860-1862. libretto, loosely based on William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing written by the composer himself

At the opening of the theater in Baden -Baden experienced this piece was premiered on August 9, 1862 ( in French). The writer Richard Pohl translated this piece and so was already in the following year, on April 8, be brought at the court theater at Weimar, a German version of the performance.

Act 1 - In the Park
