Beatton River

The Beatton River is a left tributary of the Peace River in Peace River Regional District in the northeast of the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The Beatton River has its origin in the small Lake Lily Lake, 20 km west of Pink Mountain, in the eastern foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The river initially flows in a predominantly easterly direction, then turns but later to the south-southeast. It flows through the Peace River lowlands with countless meanders. He absorbs the tributaries Blueberry River and Doig River from the right from the left. In the lower reaches it passes through the city of Fort St. John east at a distance of 5 km.
