Beau Brummel is an American- British feature film of 1954 after a presentation of the play Beau Brummell by Clyde Fitch from the year 1889. It deals with the life of Britain's George Bryan Brummell, who as a bon vivant and friend of the British heir to the throne George IV, Prince of Wales, made a name.

Action

The film is set in the early 19th century. George Bryan Brummell is a hussar officer who is called because of its extravagances Beau Brummell only. But these peculiarities encounter with the British heir to the throne, George IV, Prince of Wales, on no reciprocal love. Beau must take after a conflict with the prince farewell to his regiment. However, the two men reconcile soon.

Beau makes a close friend and personal adviser to the princes career. George III. , The father of the prince, is increasingly seen as mentally deranged and can actually no longer lead the government. But several people in the government will attempt to keep the Prince from power interests from the throne. The Prince hosted a birthday ball, Beau falls in love on this occasion Lady Patricia Belham. As it applies to the beautiful Patricia as not befitting, this is with Lord Edwin Mercer, the acting Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, engaged.
