Beautiful Joe is an American- British drama film by Stephen Metcalfe from 2000.
Action
The Irish -born Joe lives in the Bronx. One day he learns that he has a brain tumor. On the same day his wife asked for a divorce.
Joe wants to use his remaining weeks and traveling. He meets in Louisville Alice Mason, who first steals from him. Joe learns that Alice committed the act because she owes money to loan sharks George The Geek and Elton.
Joe and Mason, the single mother of two children, coming closer. Joe gets to a local gangster who wants Joe passed a arrived from New York killer. Janet Branagan wrote in Apollo Guide, that the career of Sharon Stone is located in decline, to which this film contributing. The plot was predictable. Sharon Stone and Billy Connolly would not fit together; Ian Holm was miscast.
