Bécancour Regional County Municipality

Bécancour is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the administrative region Centre-du -Québec and consists of twelve subordinate administrative units (a city, eight municipalities and three Sprengel ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Bécancour. The population is 19,461 and the area 1143.2 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 17.0 inhabitants per km ².
