Beechcraft Skipper

The Beechcraft Model 77 Skipper is a cheaper and less demanding primary trainer of the year 1975. Outwardly she's the Piper Tomahawk similar, but has a developed by NASA high lift wing (GAW -1). It is a single-engine low-wing monoplane with a rigid nose gear. Eye-catching feature is the T-tail.

The first flight of the Skipper 77 (PD 285) was held on February 6, 1975. The first production aircraft was followed in September 1978. The airworthiness certification, the Federal Aviation Administration has been available since April 17, 1979.

The Beechcraft 77 was not a commercial success. It was only manufactured until 1981. A total of 312 aircraft were produced, which were used by Beechcraft own aviation bases as training aircraft.
