Beherit

Beherit is one of the first Finnish Black Metal bands.

History

The band was founded in 1989 under the name of pseudo- Christian and later renamed Beherit. Within half a year, they recorded three demos on the titles Seventh Blasphemy, Morbid Rehearsals and Demonomancy. The third of these demos attracted attention with Turbo Music, which donated a single with the name Dawn of Satan's Millennium of the band. The four songs of this single were released together with the seven songs of Demonomancy demos on an album under the name The Oath of Black Blood. This publication is, however, not recognized by the band as official.

In 1993, the album Drawing Down the Moon was released, which became a classic within the scene.

This was followed by two albums, the Nuclear Holocausto grossed alone and which are attributable to the Dark Ambient. In 1996, he dissolved the band.

In 2008 Nuclear Holocausto took Sodomatic Slaughter and the two new musicians Sami Tenetz (Thy Serpent ) and Abyss the band activities again and began work on a new album. This is the long-lost first studio album of Beherit, which was taken in 1990. The recordings for this purpose were long considered lost and were rediscovered after 21 years. These are held in the " noisy " style of demos and the debut EP.
