The Verding (contract) on the new building was closed in 1667 with the Maurer Jakob Tässig and Sebastian Zimmerman Gubelmann. The foundation stone was laid in 1668. End of 1669 a new convent house could be obtained (east and west wings ). The church and convent were consecrated in 1670. The church with its five altars was placed under the patronage of St. Vincent de Valencia. Located on the opposite side of the street, the old Passwangstrasse monastery barn was built in 1692. The tower only built in 1764, until then the bell was housed in a roof skylights above the archway. The church tower was initially covered with a pointed helmet, received in 1842 a helmet in its present form. The northern cloister garden was bounded by an open colonnade, which was canceled in 1884.

The St. John's Chapel, northeast of the monastery next to the barn, was built in 1695.
