Bellingwolde

Bellingwolde is a village of about 2,400 inhabitants ( as of 2012) in the municipality Bellingwedde in the province of Groningen in the northeast of the Netherlands. The center of the village is a protected area (Dutch beschermd Dorpsgezicht ) with impressive buildings, including the Magnus Church, a right house, a windmill and twenty farms. The Museum de Oude Wolden is an art museum with changing exhibitions and a permanent collection of paintings by the magical realists Lodewijk Bruckman.
