Bellville is a village in Richland County in the U.S. state of Ohio. It belongs to the Metropolitan Statistical Area Mansfield. In the 2000 census, the village had 1773 inhabitants.

The town was named after the landowner Robert Bell.

Geography

The place is located on the Clear Fork Mohican River.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 7.5 square kilometers, among which are no significant water areas.
