Ben Alnwick

Alnwick Benjamin Robert ( born January 1, 1987 in Prudhoe, England) is an English football goalkeeper. He is since 2012 the Barnsley FC under contract.

Career

Association

Alnwick began his career at Sunderland AFC. There, he played from 2004-2007 as a professional. He made his debut when he had to replace the end of the 2004/05 season, the etamäßige number 1 Thomas Myhre, since this violates retired. Ben Alnwick was appointed against Moldova on August 15, 2006 in the English U-21 national team, but did not play. Previously, he played in other youth teams in the country. In 2007 he was nominated for the English team during the U-21 European Championship in the Netherlands, but was there along with Joe Hart only number two behind Scott Carson and was not used. His debut was in a friendly against Romania, where he was brought on to the second half for Joe Hart.
