Benchijigua

Benchijigua is a small town on the Canary Island of La Gomera in the municipality of San Sebastian. About 12 kilometers north of Playa Santiago is the place situated in the Barranco de Benchijigua lies at the foot of the Roque de Agando at an altitude of about 600 m. Benchijigua was one of the first places that were established on the island. Today it is a refurbished, subsidized by the European Union model village, which now fall back and leave.
