Benedikt Böhm

Benedict " Bene " Böhm ( born August 15, 1977 in Munich) is a German Extremskibergsteiger and Skier from Munich. Together with his former schoolmate Sebastian Haag, he 's a record holder in the ski mountaineering racing at Muztagata.

Biography

Boehm grew up with five siblings in Munich's Harlaching. One of his brothers is the artist Corbinian Böhm. In his childhood he was cross-country skiers at the Munich ski club " high bird" and trained during the summer months, the mountain running. His military service, he graduated from the ski train with the mountain. Böhm from 2003 to 2006 member of the German national ski mountaineering and took in the World Cup in ski mountaineering in 2006 partly in Italian Cuneo. He is a member of the Dynafit Women's Gore -Tex team. He studied economics at Oxford Brookes University and the University of Massachusetts. Professionally, he is an international sales manager at the outdoor and mountain sports company Salewa. He currently lives in Aschheim near Munich.
