Benjamin Imeh

Imeh Benjamin ( born July 20, 1982 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian football player. The striker currently plays for Lechia Zielona Góra in the third Polish league.

Club career

Benjamin Imeh is a homegrown Nigerian club Enyimba FC. Here he played until 2004., He was from the Polish club Polonia Warsaw in late 2004 committed. There, he scored four goals in 22 games in the Ekstraklasa.

In 2005 he moved to league rivals Arka Gdynia. He brought it to only seven appearances in the Ekstraklasa and a single goal. In the same year he was sold to Zawisza Bydgoszcz in the second league. Here he played regularly, but achieves in two seasons only five goals.

In 2007 he moved to Slask Wroclaw, who also played at this time in the second league. From 2008 to 2009 he played at second division Tur Turek, there he saw in a league match against Odra Opole beginning of March 2009 the referee, curiously, twice the red card. In 2009 he signed a contract with Dolcan Ząbki, there came Imeh in the season 2009/ 10 for use, played 24 games, however, where only reach two goals to him.

During the winter break in Poland 2010/11 Imeh moved fee free to league rivals Zawisza Bydgoszcz where he had already played between 2005 and 2007. He made his debut for the team from Bydgoszcz against Zagłębie Sosnowiec 18 games. But until the sixth game for Bydgoszcz met the trained striker in the game against Raków Częstochowa for his new team in the ninetieth minute to 2-2. At the end of the season he rose Zawisza Bydgoszcz on with in the first league.
