Benmore Valley AVA

Benmore Valley AVA ( recognized since 18 October 1991) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of California. The area is located in the southwest of the administrative area of ​​Lake County. Named is the high-altitude valley by Benjamin Moore. Due to the amount of which is a suitable microclimate for growing grapes. Within the area there is not a winery and a large part of the grapes produced are bought by the Geyser Peak Winery.
