Benoît Delhomme

Benoît Delhomme ( born August 28, 1961 in Paris, France ) is a French cinematographer.

Life

A native of Paris Benoît Delhomme grew up in Normandy in Cherbourg. From 1980 to 1982 he studied at the Paris film school École Louis Lumière. Then he assisted, among others, Bruno Nuytten and made ​​several short films before the film drama The Scent of Green Papaya 1993 was responsible for his first feature film as a cameraman. Since then, he worked as a cameraman for films like The Proposition - responsible Deadly Offer, 1408 and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. For his camera work on Artemisia 1998 when he was considered at the French César Film Awards with a nomination for Best Cinematography.
