Bent Christensen (footballer born 1963)

Egsmark Bent Christensen ( born February 2, 1963 in Værløse ) is a Danish football coach and former football player.

Club career

The midfielder played in the youth at Værløse BK and from 1982 to 1989 Lyngby BK in the Danish first division active. In 1983 he became Danish champion with Lyngby; 1984 and 1985 he won the Danish Cup. In 1989 he moved to Switzerland to Young Boys Bern, where he was under contract seven years. In 1996 he returned to Lyngby. A cruciate ligament injury ended his active career in 1997. He thereafter remained as manager in Lyngby.

National

Bent Christensen was in 1981 in Fiirstenwalde in a match against the same age range of the GDR its debut at the U-19 national team. Four inserts in the U-19 followed in 1982 and 1983 five games for the U- 21 team, including qualifying for the European Championship 1984.
