The Bergen Airport ( norw Bergen Lufthavn, Flesland, IATA code BGO, ICAO code ENBR ) is a Norwegian airport 15 km south of Bergen.

The airport was taken 1955. It is used for both civilian and military ( for NATO air forces and the Luftforsvaret ). With 4,657,634 passengers in 2008, the airfield is the second largest in Norway.

1988, a new terminal building with 11 passenger boarding bridges was put into operation at the airport. The old terminal is used since the clearance of helicopter passengers, mainly the routes to the oil rigs in the North Sea.

From Bergen, both regional and international destinations will be served. The most important connection is the route Bergen- Oslo. In the ranking of Europe's most flown Insert this route is number seven, with an average of 54 471 passengers a week ( 2008).
