Bernard Accama

Bernardus Accama (* 1697 in Burum, † 1756 possible, in Leeuwarden ) was a Dutch painter. His works mainly include historical and portrait paintings, including a portrait of Princess Anne, portraits of professors, as well as 24 portraits of officers of the House of Nassau, which were formerly exhibited in the City Hall of Leeuwarden and now constitute part of the Fries Museum in Leeuwarden. Some of his works were engraved by J. Houbraken and P. Tanje.

The painter Matthijs Accama (1702-1783) was his younger brother and apprentice, whose sons, Bernardus Accama (1745-1768) and Symon Accama (1734-1752), his nephew.
