Bernard Ferdinand Popp

Bernard Ferdinand Popp ( born December 6, 1917 in Nada ) is Emeritus Auxiliary Bishop of San Antonio.

Life

Bernard Ferdinand Popp was consecrated on 1 May 1941, a priest in the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

He was appointed on June 3, 1983, Auxiliary Bishop of San Antonio as well as titular bishop of Capsus. The Archbishop of San Antonio, Patrick Fernández Flores, donated to him on July 25th of that year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were John Louis Morkovsky, Bishop of Galveston - Houston, and Mark Hugo Gerber man MM, Emeritus Auxiliary Bishop of San Antonio.

March 23, 1993 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
