Bernd Methe and Reiner Methe ( born June 1, 1964; † 11 November 2011 Empfingen ) was a German Handball Referee team.

Life

The twin brothers were part of the Hessian Handball Federation and were referee since 1987. Since 1988, they whistled together as a team. Since 1993, they belonged to the DHB squad and jointly managed 670 Bundesliga games. In 1995, she was appointed to the A-team. Since 1998 Methe / Methe were in the EHF / IHF Executive and conducted 206 international matches. Among other things, they were used at the 2007 World Handball Championship and also booed at the European Championships 2010, which took place January 31 to 19 in Austria. There they were recognized by the EHF for the management of the final against France, Croatia. They were on their way to Sparkassen- Arena in Balingen where they should lead the Bundesliga match HBW Balingen- Weilstetten against SC Magdeburg.
