Bernd Rauw

Bernd Gerd Rauw ( born January 8, 1980 in Malmedy) is a Belgian football player and coach.

Career

A native of eastern Belgium midfielder came already with 17 years of Standard Liege to Germany and joined Alemannia Aachen. In the 2008 /09 season he joined the U-19 players already to use one in the first team in the Regionalliga. Then the team was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga and Rauw immediately found a place in the defense of the professional cadre. In the third year he advanced the defense into midfield and played his first season as a regular player. Then he left Aachen after three years as a pro and 66 second division games and moved to first division club Arminia Bielefeld. There followed three eventful years with the descent into the second league and the chances of promotion. In his second Erstligasaison he played only irregularly in the first and often only in the second team. July 1, 2005 Rauw moved back to Alemannia Aachen. His contract was dissolved in Aachen, however, after he had been more used in the premier league than in the second division team before the season 2006/ 07.

Rauw then went to MVV Maastricht in the Dutch Eerste Divisie, where he completed 35 Official matches. For the season 2007/ 08 he moved from there to Germany again to Kickers Emden in the Regionalliga Nord, where his former coach of the second team in Aachen, Stefan Emmerling, had taken over as coach. As a fixture in the Emden defense he made with the team qualifying for the new single-track 3rd League, where he it as a regular in 35 games this season solidified the defense in the year.

For the season 2009/10 moved to second division Rauw Up 1 FC Union Berlin, with whom he reached number 12 and thus the league. In the season 2010/11 he arrived there on 20 missions. In both years, he fell temporarily out due to injury.

For the season 2011/12 he moved to third division side FC Rot -Weiss Erfurt and played back under coach Stefan Emmerling, under whom he had already played in Aachen and Emden. End of January 2013, the contract was terminated prematurely. Beginning in February 2013 it was announced that Rauw returns to the East Belgian homeland and for the rest of the season FC Bütgenbach in the third province Class D (7th Belgian League ) followed, with whom he eventually succeeded in becoming the second province in Class C.

Since the beginning of the 2013/14 season as player-coach Bernd Rauw is in the service of Honsfelder SV, with whom he also competes in the second province class C.
