Bernard " Bernie " Hamilton ( born June 12, 1928 in Los Angeles, California, † December 30, 2008 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American film actor and music producer.

Life

Bernie Hamilton grew up with five brothers and one sister, among whom was also the jazz drummer and composer Chico Hamilton. At the age of a teenager, he ran away from home.
