Bernoulli (crater)

48.42

Bernoulli is an impact crater in the northeastern quadrant of the moon. Located just south of the crater Messala and east of Geminus.

The edge of Bernoulli is almost circular and a plurality of slight projections along the periphery. On the southern Kraterwandung exists a depression, which leads to a triangular bulge of the crater rim. The rim is on the east side at the highest and rises there at up to 4000 meters. At the center of the crater floor, a central peak rises.
