Besnik Hasi

Besnik Hasi ( born December 25, 1971 in Đakovica, Yugoslavia, now Kosovo ) is a former Kosovo Albanian football player. He usually played in the midfield, but was also used in central defense.

Career

Hasi began his career in the youth team of KF Vëllaznimi. From 1990 to 1994, he played for various clubs in Croatia, including NK Zagreb. In 1994 he moved to KRC Genk. Although at first he hardly played in Genk, he remained one year interruption to 2000 there.

In the 1997/98 season he played for TSV 1860 München. After his return from Munich, he was an important part of the team that won the Belgian Championship and the 2000 Cup in 1999.

In 2000 he moved to RSC Anderlecht. In his first season he was injured helping the club at just 16 missions to win the league title. In the following season he played 30 games in the league and five in the Champions League.

Because of knee problems he had to pause for more time and again. In the season 2005/ 06 he came only on 14 missions and then moved to SC Lokeren. In Cercle Brugge he finished the 2007/ 08 his professional career.

National

Hasi was only in 2000 with 28 years of its debut in the Albanian national team, but was fixed under Hans -Peter Briegel part of the team. He was also in the team that the former European champions Greece struck in September 2004, 2-1.

He belonged to 2007 or as permanent staff of the national team.

Others

Hasi was asked in 1994 when he moved to Genk, if he knew of a player who could help the club. He recommended Branko Strupar. This was in 1998 Footballer of the Year Belgium and was in the same year, his debut in the Belgian national team.
