Bettina Tietjen
Bettina Tietjen ( born January 5, 1960 in Wuppertal; Schniewind born ) is a German television presenter.
Tietjen's father is an architect and her mother a housewife. She grew up with two sisters in Wuppertal. She studied German, Romance and art history, she graduated in Münster and Paris.
After graduating she worked as a reporter and author, among other things for the RIAS Berlin, the NDR and various newspapers. She hosted the RIAS breakfast television, the current hour on WDR television, Journal of the Deutsche Welle and moderated until today the shipment THAT! in the NDR television. From January 1997 to September 2007 she was, together with Eva Herman, host of the talk shows Star whispering and Herman and Tietjen. Since October 12, 2007, she hosted jointly with Yared Dibaba a similar format, which was three long programs produced under the title Talk with Tietjen and was subsequently renamed The Tietjen and Dibaba. In September 2009, Yared Dibaba was replaced by Eckart von Hirsch Hausen, since is the name of the program Tietjen and deer camp. In 2009, Bettina Tietjen dedicated volunteer as an official " boat unionist " of the German Society for Sea Rescue. Since March 2009 she is engaged, inter alia, for the McDonald's Children's Aid Foundation. She is patron of the Ronald McDonald House of Kiel and is committed to families of seriously ill children.

Tietjen is married and lives with her husband and their two children in Hamburg -Harburg. Tietjen had a cameo appearance in the cinema strip Horst Schlämmer - kandidiere Ish! .
