Bever (Wupper)

Pond at the Bever source

The Bever is an approximately 10 km long, right-sided or northeasterly flow of the river Wupper in the district of Cologne in North Rhine -Westphalia ( Germany ).

Course

The Bever rises in the Mark Brandenburg district west of the core location of the city Halver, or approximately 870 m south of the district Schwenke between the closely spaced halver located between hamlets in the Bever in the north and on the Bever in the south.

Shortly after, she crossed the border to Oberbergisch district and flows at the same time in the Natural Park Bergisch country through which it passes to the Bever mouth. This makes them a piece of the border between the towns Radevormwald and Wipperfuerth. After a few kilometers solely on Radevormwalder urban area Bever is jammed at the border with Hückeswagen to Bevertalsperre.

Shortly after the Bevertalsperre flows into the river in Hückeswagen - Hartkopsbever in the east -south-east -flowing approach Wupper (Rhine tributary), not without first being dammed briefly to Bever pond.
