Work

The group focuses on issues such as market economy and the media in which it deals with phenomena and symptoms of a service society. The omnipresent marketing and codes of representation of the western service society are also highlighted how their waste products and psychosis, results of the fear of failure and the spiritual vacuum of capitalism. The art form of motion Nurr has been described as " parodic elegance between Ernst and nonsense comedy and catastrophe."

The development of the artist collective ranges from the graffiti in the Neustadt district of Dresden in the early 1990s to the sculptures, videos, paintings and installations of today. Your subversive strategies in the visual arts can often be cross-references to the active in the 1980s and 1990s, groups of artists General Idea ( Felix Partz, Jorge Zontal, AA Bronson ) and The Deadly Doris (Wolfgang Müller, Nikolaus Utermöhlen, Kathe Kruse, Tabea Blumenschein ) recognize.
