Bezděkov (Klatovy District)

Bezděkov ( German Besdiekau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south-west of Klatovy and belongs to Okres Klatovy.

Geography

Bezděkov is located north of the Bohemian Forest in the river level Úhlava. The village is located on the left side of the river at the foot of the 445 m high mountain Anna. By Bezděkov the railway from Klatovy leads to Domažlice or Železná Ruda, on which there is a railway station in the resort. North of Bezděkov runs the state road 22 between Klatovy and Domažlice.

Neighboring towns are Tupadl in the north, Kal and Beňovy in the northeast, Klatovy in the east, in the southeast Novákovice, Dolni Lhota and Rohozno in the south, Plešiny the southwest, VITANA in the west and Koryta in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from the year 1331st owner was at this time Elblin of Bezděkov. In the 14th century, the celebrations will be created.
