Bezzecca
Bezzecca is a fraction of the municipality of Ledro in the homonymous valley in Trentino. Bezzecca had on 31 December 2008, 593 inhabitants.
The former community has banded together with the municipalities Pieve di Ledro Molina di Ledro, Concei, Tiarno di Sopra and Tiarno di Sotto Ledro to the new community after a referendum held on 30 November 2008 with the January 1, 2010.
History
On July 21, 1866, the Battle of Bezzecca took place at Bezzecca, in which the troops of Garibaldi were victorious against the Austrians. Garibaldi in his telegram Bezzecca Obbedisco ( I obey ) written.
Management
Last Mayor of Concei was Ettore Luraschi from the lista civica.
In May 2010, was chosen together with the local council and mayor of Ledro the Group Head of Bezzecca ( Prosindaco ).
Territory
The territory of the municipality changed in the course of its existence twice: in 1928 the municipalities Enguiso, Lenzumo, Locca and Pieve di Ledro were incorporated; 1952, the areas of these ex- municipalities were spun again, and the two communities Pieve di Ledro and Concei formed
