Pieve di Ledro

Pieve di Ledro is since 1 January 2010, a fraction of the municipality of Ledro in Trentino, Lake Ledro. Pieve was a community formed the community Ledro along with Tiarno di Sopra, Tiarno di Sotto, Bezzecca, Concei and Molina di Ledro. Pieve had 2007 623 inhabitants.

The village Mezzolago the Lake belongs to the group Pieve.

History

Pieve is, as its name suggests, from everlasting regliöse and social center of the Ledro Valley. The Parish Church of the Annunciation, was first mentioned in 1235 and in 1537 converted into a collegiate church, from which the clerics had to supply the whole valley.

On November 30, the majority of residents of Pieve has consented to the inclusion in the new community " Ledro ". The agreement was implemented on 1 January 2010.

Administration until the dissolution of the community

The last mayor of Pieve di Ledro was Giuliano Pellegrini ( lista civica ).
