The Bhadra ( Kannada: ಭದ್ರಾ ನದಿ, Bhadra nadi) is a river in the Indian state of Karnataka.

The Bhadra originates at Gangamoola near Kudremukha, Western Ghats and flows east across the southern part of the Deccan, together with its tributaries Somavahini, Thadabehalla and Odirayanahalla. It flows through the towns Horanadu, Balehonnur, Balehole and NR Pura. In the near Lakkavalli a dam was built, which forms the Bhadra Reservoir. From here the river continues its journey through the city of Bhadravathi on. The Bhadra meets the Tunga at Koodli, a small town near Shivamogga, and is then called in the further course Tungabhadra.

The Tungabhadra flows into the state of Andhra Pradesh in the Krishna, which flows into the Bay of Bengal.
