Biel, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship

Biel ( German Weissensee) is a small village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It belongs to the urban and rural community Reszel ( Rößel ) in Kętrzyński powiat ( county Rastenburg ).

Geographical location

Biel is on the north bank of the Zaine (Polish: Sajna ) and four kilometers west of the county town Reszel ( Rößel ) to the voivodeship 594 The nearest train station is Sątopy - Samulewo ( Santoppen - Bischdorf ) to the state railway line from Poznań ( Posen) about Toruń ( Thorn ) to Schelesnodoroschny ( Gerdauen ) and continue to Tschernjachowsk ( Insterburg ) in the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast ( region Königsberg ( Prussia) ).

History
