Big Leaguer is an American sports film from the year 1953. He is the first work as a director Robert Aldrich. The film's story is fictional, the character Hans Lobert, however, was a baseball player. The budget for the film was $ 800,000.

Action

John " Hans " Lobert runs a training camp in Florida for the baseball team the New York Giants. He tries every year to find out the many players the best for the Minor League Baseball. These then get a payment of $ 150 per month.
