Big Town Playboys

The Big Town Playboys are a six-piece rhythm and blues band English, which has the American rhythm and blues of the 1940s and 1950s ( such as Amos Milburn and Louis Jordan ) prescribed. It was founded in 1984 by Andy Silvester and Ricky Cool, heard of the original lineup today only Ian Jennings (bass ) of the group. Another founding member, Mike Sanchez (piano), left the band in 1999 to pursue his solo career. The band has a wide fan base throughout Europe, particularly in Scandinavia and Germany, where they are always in clubs and on tours as a guest.
