Big Trout Lake (Ontario)

Big Trout Lake ( literally translated as "big trout lake ") is a 624 km ² lake in Kenora District in the Canadian province of Ontario.

The total area including the islands is 661 km ². On the banks of the lake, the community of Kitchenuhmaykoosib is Inninuwug ( Big Trout Lake First Nation). The catchment area covers 4350 km ². The lake is the Fawn River, a tributary of the Severn River, drained.
