Billy Myles

William Myles Nobles (* August 29, 1924; † 9 October 2005), known as Billy Myles, was an American R & B composer, singer and music publishers. Among his most famous pieces include ( You Were Made for ) All My Love, 1960 a hit for Jackie Wilson, and Have You Ever Loved a Woman, 1960 by Freddie King and recorded in 1970 by Derek and the Dominos.

Myles worked as composer in residence for the New York Herald and Ember record label of Al Silver. He wrote mostly ballads, occasionally with co-authors as the singers Jackie Wilson and Brook Benton. Among the performers who brought out his songs were for example Wilson, Benton, Little Willie John, Freddie King and Gladys Knight. About 170 Myles compositions are registered with Broadcast Music Incorporated.

Billy Myles made ​​in the 1950s, even some recordings, of which only one was successful: in 1957 rose The Joker ( That's What They Call Me) at # 25 on the pop charts and number 13 of the R & B charts in the USA.
