BÃtouchov
Bítouchov ( German Bitouchow ) is a municipality with 289 inhabitants ( 1 January 2004) in Středočeský kraj. The place is located in 281 m above sea level. M. on a wooded level, 12 kilometers north of the county town Mladá Boleslav.
History
The first references date from the 12th century. At that time it was common for places by the founders were named. Thus, from the " Bitúchův Dvůr " later " Bítúchov " and in modern times first " Bytouchov ", then " Bítouchov ".
In the 16th century Bítouchov 13, the neighboring village Dolánky 7 settlement sites had. Both places were part of the territory of the castle Zvířetice. At the instigation of the local lords of Wartenberg settled in Bítouchov, as well as in some other villages of domination, German settlers down.
Following the lifting of patrimonial 1848, the places of the original district court were related. Besides Bítouchov and Dolánky still belonged Nová Ves, Bradlec Zvířetice, Dalesice and Chudoplesy to the local chapter. Since 1890 Bítouchov is an independent municipality. You are assigned to the settlements Dolánky and parts of Velky and Maly Rečkov.
