Biwi No. 1 (Hindi: बीवी नम्बर वन, Bivi nambar van, literally, wife number one) is a Hindi film directed by David Dhawan from the year 1999.
Action
Prem is very wealthy and, with his wife Pooja and their two children, a happy family life until the model Rupali enters his life. He falls in love with her and begins to lead a double life. He takes with Rupali in Switzerland, where they are discovered by Pooja's sister and her husband Lovely Lathan.
After returning Prem buys for Rupali a beautiful villa and visited them, Lathan helps him to cover up the affair, but soon they fly on and Pooja Prem presents an ultimatum. Prem leaves his family and lives with Rupali. Pooja considering how they could win back her husband. Lathan feels guilty and promises her here to help. Try by all means Prem and Rupali apart to accommodate children's and Prem's mother pull in with them, Pooja is taking the lead in Prem's advertising agency and dismisses Rupali, Rupalis Deepak worshipers emerged thanks Lathan's efforts on again.
Background
It is a remake of the Tamil film Sathi Leelavathi (1995 ) with Kamal Hassan.
