Björn Arne Nittmo ( born June 26, 1966 in Lomma, Sweden ) is a Swedish former American football player. He played on the position of the kicker.

Football career

Nittmo played college football at Appalachian State University. After his college years he played in the 1989 season for the New York Giants in the NFL, but could not prevail, and was only used in six games. After that, he played for various teams in various professional leagues, including the Montreal Machine in the WLAF and Stockholm Nordic Vikings in the FLE. He also kicked for five different teams in the AFL and 1995 in the CFL. In addition, he played games for the Swedish national team.

Film and TV

Nittmo was during his time with the Giants a few times as a guest on Late Night with David Letterman. In the film Any Given Sunday, he is seen as a kicker.
