BÅ‚Ä…dkowo

Błądkowo ( German Plantikow ) is a village and sołectwo ( mayor's office ) in the rural community Dobra in powiat Lobeski in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.

History

The place Plantikow was first mentioned in 1269, in a border treaty of Duke Barnim I to the Bishop of Pomerania. With the conversion of the Slavic Pomeranians to Christianity and the establishment of monasteries immigration of German settlers began to Pomerania. This happened mainly in the 13th century. With the German settlers noble families came from the ancient German lands into the country. Among them were the families of Eberstein and von Dewitz. The family von Dewitz became the rule in the country Daber, so over Plantikow in the 14th century. This family was previously involved in the colonization of Mecklenburg.

Pomerania had to suffer repeatedly in the following centuries the " feuds " between individual noble families, including Plantikow among the feuds between the families of Dewitz and of Eberstein. But particularly suffered from Pomerania during the Thirty Years' War, in which imperial and Swedish troops ravaged the country; thereby also the lands of Daber and Pomerania was affected, probably Plantikow. Later Pomerania was particularly afflicted in the Seven Years' War, 1756-1763, while the neighboring village Farbezin in 1761 plundered by Russian soldiers. Plantikower citizens will certainly have to watch the horrors of these events at least.

The Good in Plantikow, which included up to 1945 4700 morning, initially belonged to the family von Dewitz, 1754 Joachim Löper family, from 1782, the family von Arnim, from 1803 the Witte family and in 1820 the family Witte - Borne field. In 1878 the estate Plantikow of Otto von Diest ( 1821-1901 ) was purchased by his son Ernst von Diest ( 1855-1929 ) and after that his son was Otto von Diest ( 1897-1989 ) owner. Otto von Diest, the last owner, had on March 3, 1945, prior to advancing Soviet troops flee, his wife Carol and his eldest son Ernst -Arnold were after they had missed the flight and had to trek back involuntarily remain under Soviet rule, 26 June 1945 expelled from the Polish civil administration.

From 1945 to 1954, the village was the seat of the municipality and of Błądkowo to 1946 part of the Szczecin Voivodeship. On September 29, 1954, the congregation was dissolved. The local government reform of 1973, the community was not restored and Błądkowo was part of the community Dobra.
