Blood (band)

BLOOD is a visual kei group from Japan. The music has various elements and can best define hard rock well.

The band members see themselves not only as a musician but also as an artist. Kaede is for example responsible for the visual aspects, while Kiwamu operated both as a graphic designer as well as the head of her production company CURE. The two since the beginning form the backbone of the band and work alongside their third vocalist Fu -ki, which is today's third solid member of BLOOD, with many guest musicians, so the cast of song can switch to song.

Band name

The name BLOOD (German blood) means for the band as much as origin or pure blood and also stands for strong feelings. The band tries with their music, the various strong emotions of people present.

First Era

Kiwamu and Kaede founded BLOOD together with their first singer Dai in February 2002 and published in this and the following month, two demo tapes. In April Taichi joined as a drummer and guitarist who took part in addition to the programming and the song writing and music arranger, the band.

After the release of their first maxi-single in early August they were elected before their first live performance on October 3 in the BRAND NEW in Osaka in September in the rock section on Artist Debut Net at No. 1. Takeshi joined the band in November as a second vocalist. In the same month, an English version of their website is online. After a series of concerts and two further single releases had Dai was leaving the band in February 2003, as it did not take his work seriously enough there. This was the end of the first epoch, whose works were published in April 2004 in the compilation 1st PERIOD 1st period as BEST demo tracks.

Second Era

In addition to the release of the video BLOOD film # 01 in March 2003 toured BLOOD at the beginning of their second period mainly in Japan, but had in the summer due to its degree of recognition overseas and in the U.S. two performances on 20 June at the Gakufest the Fanime 2003 - Con in San Francisco on July 3 at Anime Expo 2003 in Los Angeles. In addition to two further demo tapes they released in October their second video entitled IN USA ~ infected with BLOOD, on the next to the performances of the two U.S. conventions also a video of sweetest disease is seen. It was also published in August their website in French and Korean. On January 24, they gave up the Ohayocon 2004 in Ohio her third America concert. In February, they released their first mini-album BLOOD, which appeared alongside the national version as international and European version, each with a different tracklisting. Two days after their first concert in Tokyo left Taichi and Takeshi unknown reasons the band.

Third Era

In March this year came with Fu -ki at the third and current lead singer of the band and already on April 2, BLOOD was in Glaz 'Art in Paris their first European Concert. In the same month, the site also the Spanish and Chinese fans was made available in their own language. With BLIND (the title at the same time is the new motto of the band show) was published on 30 May this year, the fourth single of the band.

2004 BLOOD played on May 29 at the Music Festival of Fanime 2004 on the well Duel Jewel were a guest. In September, they carried out their BLOOD TOUR European oneman [ VENGEANCE for BLOOD ] the first time in Germany. Since the planned first concert in Poland was canceled by the organizer, they played their tour start Columbia Club in Berlin on 10 September, on the 11th was followed by an appearance at the Connichi in Kassel and on the 12th they finished their tour in Paris La Boule Noir. On 10 simultaneously appeared with the start of the tour 's second single with Fu -ki THE FUNERAL FOR HUMANITY. With their second European tour [ VENGEANCE for BLOOD 2] they performed in Warsaw, Lille and Münster. Following the second album VENGEANCE for BLOOD was published.

In May came BLOOD a second time as the first visual kei band ever in Mexico for Convention TNT9 with their oneman tour [ VENGEANCE for BLOOD 3]. With [ VENGEANCE for BLOOD 4] In early July then followed their first oneman concert in Tokyo. Shortly thereafter, the second mini- album of their third epoch was published: VENGEANCE for BLOOD 2 First, however, visited the band with their longest tour [ VENGEANCE for BLOOD 5] ~ North Europe Counterattack ~ Finland, Sweden, Germany and England. The tour was a great success: sold-out houses in Finland and England, already in Finland and Sweden nearly all merchandising inventory was sold and after many problems on past trips, everything went without problems.

As a conclusion of the tour it follows the first self- organized event [ VENGEANCE for BLOOD Extra ] ~ Endless Spiral of Tragedy ~. In addition to continuing its theme meant the year 2005, a re- publication of old pieces in the form of compilation CDs 1st PERIOD DX and DX 2nd PERIOD Kiwamu announced that he had joined the band GPKISM. In a U.S. tour she also met her keyboardist Ryo ( called the tour: "Dark Labyrinth Vol 8"). In November BLOOD announced a further U.S. and Mexico tour called BLOOD Final Tour: La Fin De Le Journee. GPK and DJ SiSeN accompanied the group on their last tour before they would dissolve. Kaede and Ryo did not take part in the tour, however. Prior to the comprehensive six concerts tour, they brought on 28 January yet released their last album "Lost Sky".
