Blue Hill is a small town (town ), which, Maine is located in Hancock County. In 2010, the town had 2,686 inhabitants. Blue Hill has, among others, two high schools, the Liberty School, the George Stevens Academy and the Blue Hill Memorial Hospital.

The city is known mainly by Mary Ellen Chase, a writer and teacher who was born here. In Blue Hill Memorial Hospital died of writers Janwillem van de Wetering in July 2008.
