Bluebird Cargo
Bluebird Cargo is an Icelandic cargo airline based in Keflavik and base on the Keflavik airport. It is a subsidiary of Icelandair.
History
The airline was founded in 2000 by the merger of several Icelandic businessmen and began about a year later, in March 2001, with the implementation of cargo flights. With only one aircraft was started operating between Iceland, the UK and Germany. Over time, came more and more Boeing 737 fleet to be added, including a used Boeing 737-400, which was converted into a freighter version.
Destinations
Bluebird Cargo operates flights from and to Iceland by and operated routes in Europe, and focusing on routes to Cologne / Bonn and to Milan Linate.
Fleet
As of July 2013, the fleet of Bluebird Cargo consists of five cargo aircraft:
- 4 Boeing 737- 300F (2 operated for TNT Airways, one for West Atlantic )
- 1 Boeing 737- 400F ( operated for TNT Airways )
