Bo Christensen
Højgaard Bo Christensen ( born August 24, 1937 in Frederiksberg, Denmark ) is a Danish film producer who in 1988 won an Oscar for his film Babette's Feast.
Career
Christensen started in 1956 to be active as a student in the film and has been since 1957 permanently employed as an assistant at Nordisk Film. He had in 1958 as assistant director made his debut in the Danish film Cyklisten. From 1959 on, he worked as a production assistant and from 1961 production for commercials for Nordisk Film. After that he worked in a number of Danish films in different positions, mostly in the production line and as a film producer with.
