Bo Horvat

Bo Horvat William (born 5 April 1995 Rodney, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Since 2011 he plays for the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League on the position of the center.

Career

Horvat played in his youth for the Elgin - Middlesex Chiefs. With 125 points, he was there in the season 2010/11 the best scorer before he was selected in the OHL Priority Draft ninth of the London Knights. Since 2011 he has been active for the Knights in the Ontario Hockey League, with whom he won the 2012 and 2013 OHL Championship. During the 2012/13 season he participated in the CHL Top Prospects Game. Horvat was 16 goals top scorer in the OHL play-offs in 2013 and was awarded the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award as the most valuable player of the playoffs.

NHL Entry Draft 2013 Horvat was selected in the first round in ninth place of the Vancouver Canucks.

Internationally

His first measures on the international level had Horvat at the World U -17 Hockey Challenge, 2012 in Windsor, where he won the bronze medal as captain of Team Canada Ontario. When Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in 2012 he won the gold medal with the Canadian U-18 selection.
