Bobięcino

Bobięcino ( German Papenzin, Kashubian Papãczëno, also Bòbiecëno ) is a village directly on the western border of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the urban and rural community Miastko ( Rummelsburg ) in Bytowski powiat ( county Buetow ).

Geographical location

Bobięcino is the Pojezierze Bytowski ( " Bytów Lakeland " ) in the east of the Pomeranian Lake District at the two lakes Jezioro Bobięcińskie Małe ( Small Papenzin Lake), Jezioro Bobięcińskie Wielkie ( Big Papenzin Lake), where the place takes its name.

You can reach the village of Zydowo ( Sydow, 9 km) on the province road 205 on a side road that leads to Miastko ( Rummelsburg 10 km) leads to the state roads 20 and 21, as well as directly from Kawcze ( Kaffzig, 8 miles) on the province road 206

The nearest railway station is on the railway line Kawcze Pila - Ustka ( Schneidemühl - Stolpmünde ).

History

Papenzin was created in the second half of the 16th century and had in 1590 already 13 yards. In 1784, six half peasants were counted with three knights seats, a forge, a schoolmaster and a bush skating here.

Between 1811 and 1820 emerged: Birkhof (Polish: Brzeżno ) Charlottenhof ( Mądroszki ) Eichmannshof, Fließhof, Grunhof, Lilienhof, Louisenhof, Möshof ( Wrześnica ) and Seehof ( Żabnica ). Towards the end of the 19th century still Peitz Skating, New Globnitz ( Głobniczka ) and Friedrichswalde were added. 1925, here 16 farms that had been issued on a long lease.

In 1812 Papenzin counted 94 inhabitants ( in 18 houses ). Their number increased to 1843 to 315, and in 1885 there were 281, 1925 nor 331 and 1939 only 221

By 1945 Papenzin was a place in the district Rummelsburg in the district of Koszalin in the Prussian Pomerania and was in the office of United Schwirsen ( Świerzno ) incorporated. Since 1945 it is Polish under the name Bobięcino and part of Gmina Miastko in powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship ( 1975-1998 Slupsk voivodship ).

Church

Before 1945, the population of Papenzin almost exclusively Protestant denomination was. 1571 Before the village was in the parish Pritzig (Polish: Przytocko ) the parish, after which there was in the parish United Schwirsen ( Świerzno ) and belonged to the Church Rummelsburg ( Miastko ) in Ostsprengel the Church Province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union.

School

Around 1780 Papenzin had been a schoolmaster. 1813 20 children attended the school. The remoteness of the place and unfavorable living conditions ensured a high turnover of teachers. 1937 taught here a teacher 32 school children.
