The Bodva at Jasov

The Bodva (also Bodwa, Hungarian Bódva ) is a river in the south eastern Slovakia, and Hungary. It rises in the Slovak Ore (more precisely in the Volovecer Bergen / Volovské Hills ) and crosses the Slovak-Hungarian border at Hosťovce. In Boldva finally empties into the Sajó, where she has reached a total length of 113 kilometers, of which 48.4 km run again on Slovak territory. At the border, the flow rate is 5 m³ / s, the water catchment area covers 890 km ².
