Bogusław Kowalski

Bogusław Kowalski ( born October 23, 1964 in Mircze ) is a Polish politician, since 2005 Member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Legislature, former State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport in the government of Jarosław Kaczyński, President of the party Ruch Ludowo - Narodowy (People's National Movement - RLN ).

He finished the study of history at the University of Warsaw. In the 90 years he was editor of the weekly newspaper Mysl Polska ( Polish thought), with the extreme right-wing Stronnictwo Narodowo - Demokratyczne ( National Democratic Party SND) was connected. He was the de facto chairman of the SND, nominally the Minister Jan Tomasz Zamoyski was. He worked closely with Lech Wałęsa and Tadeusz Wilecki in their respective presidential election campaigns ( 1995 and 2000). He then led an insignificant splinter of SND.

After 2001 he was a member of the League Polskich Rodzin ( League of Polish Families - LPR) and managed various party structures, including the powiat Minski. From 2002 to 2005 he was a deputy in the Parliament of the Mazowieckie region and member of the Woiwodschaftsrats. In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was elected for the constituency of Siedlce on the list of LPR in the Sejm.

In 2006 he resigned from the LPR. He joined the Narodowe Kolo Parliament Arne (National Parliament circle). On 22 September 2006 he became the newly established Group of Ruch Ludowo - Narodowy ( RLN ), but soon fell apart again. After the 18th December 2006 he was a deputy for the Ruch Ludowo - Chrześcijański (People's Christian movement - RLCh ). 2007 was at the head of the newly founded by some members of the party RLCh Ruch Ludowo - Narodowy. From 23 May 2006 to 23 November 2007 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport. The Sejmwahlen 2007, he was on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość - confirmed with 7,259 votes as a Member of Law and Justice ( PiS). He is a member of the Sejm commissions for Infrastructure and Foreign Affairs.

After by Instytut Pamięci Narodowej (Institute of National Remembrance - IPN) published on 4 December 2007 data is Kowalski " Mieczysław " registered on 4 February 1987 by the State Security Service as informer. On 29 September 2008, the IPN explained that after the analysis of the archival material no basis for questioning the Lustrationsangaben Kowalski can be found.
