Boisavia Mercurey

The Boisavia D.60 Mercurey was a sport aircraft produced by the French manufacturer Société Boisavia.

History and construction

The Boisavia Mercurey was a four-seater light aircraft, which was developed in France just after the Second World War. It was a conventional strutted high-wing monoplane with fixed spur wheel chassis. The prototype first flew on April 3, 1949 and was powered by a Renault 3Pei with 140 kW. The aircraft was built in small numbers and used as sports, travel, education and agricultural aircraft, also as a glider tug.
